Ecosystem
Ecosystems are the community of habitats and the organisms living in them, such as animals and plants. An ecosystem includes both inanimate (abiotic) and animate (biotic) components. There are many different types of ecosystem in the ocean, influenced by various factors, some of which are strongly affected by human activity.
